baptists.. do you have a life verse if so what is it?

Posted on January 31st, 2010 by admin in best things in life are unseen | 2 Comments »

mine is hebrews 11:1 now faith is the substance of things hope for,the evidence of things unseen.it don’t matter if your baptist just they have a life verse kinda like a spritual tattoo.

I’m Christian and a life verse inspired my scripture based business. One verse changed my life and career, I left a 15 year real estate business and became a custom jewelry designer so I could create an opportunity for women to remember their life verse. God worked through me and through a single verse:

Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Deut 11:18

Are these poems good?

Posted on January 31st, 2010 by admin in unseen so this is freedom | 2 Comments »

i wrote these poems a while ago, and i entered them in young authors for my school. I won as the state representative, but i never thought that they were that great. What do you think???

Once upon a time…

Once upon a t i m e…

Not now, never been,
Never could,
never e n d.
A day wasted,
Running ‘till then.

Gone today, back again
Never remember,
Never k n o w n.

Could have been
Couldn’t be
Never w a s.

Always will be,
Always e n d i n g.
‘till tomorrow’s t o d a y and today’s y e s t e r d a y.

Once again;
It has n e v e r been…

Remembering a time once upon us,
But it is merely a figment of the imagination.

You can recall times before life of you own,
With just one though, you remember,
Finding now that it never was…

It is elapsed now, never was;
Was it, or was it not?
Remembering, or solely a thought?

Today’s tomorrow is always a day next and yesterday’s today…
One day before wave, tides of crashing shores too early,
Over time…
Once upon a time…

If only…

If only you had said something,
Who knows where we would be now?

If only I had asked the questions I had longed to,
If I had spoken…

Now you regret it, for it is much too late now.
You must wait until time is right,
When the wind shifts and the moon shadows
Maybe then it will be…

But for now, you have lost your chance, too mad at your coward soul.
Yet you know deep in you wish for b r a v e r y…

If only…

Regret

Day by day, I ponder what it would be like.
I know only live to regret the day
T h a t I m e t y o u.
How it has brought such sorrow and despair!-
And though time how it has stained my soul deep within.

How I regret that faithful morning that I found myself in its predicament!-
And how it now complicates the time we have spent apart.

Now I only wish that, in time, you come to understand,
But perhaps, it too, could have been avoided.

How I regret the days in which I was blind from the world on which I stand!
How I feel I make this troubled soul ache as it is torn,
But, I can only now say,
It is my truest…
My deepest…
Regret…

Unseen

They say the best things in life are unseen,
Which is why we close our eyes when we
K i s s,
C r y,
And d r e a m

A kiss-
A time we share with those we love,
A first,
A second,
A third,
All the same passion…
The best things in life-
Eyes closed…
Unseen…

A cry-
Impossible for eyes to be open.
A time to let emotions free from the iron bars of deep.
The best things in life…
Unseen…

A dream-
Sometimes good, sometimes bad.
Always relaxing,
But never understood.
Your eyes always closed, pleasantness arises…
The best things in life…
Unseen…

Time…

What is time?
Nothing but a limiting factor of presence,
A pressure to leave the ones we love,
A schedule impossible to keep.
Something that is different for every clock, An annoying time of leave,
Something that shall not exist if not for the greediness of this horrid world!
Time…

A Best Friend

Best friends forever, boys are whatever,
Together forever, never been better.
One secret, no lies, a sorrowful cry,
A laugh…
A sob…
A whisper…
A sigh…
Bringing out the best, fight through the rest.
A smile to share with someone who cares, with a shoulder to lean on and one to lend.
Always be there, never end.
Together at last and forever.
A best friend, boys are whatever,
A world with no secrets or lies, and the freedom to c r y…
A best friend…

Footsteps

“Mommy, I want to follow in your footsteps,”
wherever you go, I want to follow…
Follow the footsteps…
Through the beach,
Treading through snow,
Across the road…
A first step, the biggest,
Following the path.
Always a follower, never a leader;
Until the day your follower materializes. But until then…
Follow the footsteps through a path unpaved.
Follow the footsteps for a path unknown.
Follow the footsteps…

Haze

With rage I cry out!
I can not comprehend the world on which I stand upon!
The world is a h a z e, only a fog!
Can this not be a dream? – More so a nightmare…
Oh! Break h a z e with some foreign light!
But it does not clear, for it is defended.
I fear it may never be shattered, this h a z e!
Then what will become…?

Burning

Streams flow fast full of salty tears…
The burning will not stop! – it’s suffocating!
For the same operate will occur again as it has before, yet, I can not stop.

It seems imprudent to have this burning,
Oh! With the lakes before me you would think it would cease!
Please, I beg of you, sojourn this burning!

thanks <3 commets appreciated!

If only, Unseen, Time and Best friend were excellent 5*****stars definately but the others were nt that great, but they were definately going somewhere

I can’t remember what this movie was called?

Posted on January 31st, 2010 by admin in unseen the movie | 5 Comments »

It had a unseen psycho killer in the movie that was going around and killing people by injecting them with window cleaner. I think it was some comedy that starred Andy Griffith or something.

…you might be thinking of "The Man with Two Brains", although the ‘windex killer’ in THAT movie, was played by Merv Griffin, not Andy Griffith…

What does your conscience tell you about this ?

Posted on January 31st, 2010 by admin in cannot unseen | 6 Comments »

Is not the ability to believe and obey the unseen the best attribute of the total capacities and capabilities of human being, that seperates him from animals in the highest degree ? Humans can fast despite food in their proximity whereas animals cannot do it. Does not greed and lust make a person worst than an animal because he or she would has a latent capacity at their disposal and that is faith in Almighty? Please share your views

Being greed less, merciful, generous, magnanimous, greathearted are excellent features that man kind have despite being a non-believer of God. I am not here to believe or not believe Him.

I have been seeing many nice people who are not much interested in God. But they respect their conscience. They believe in "good brings good" concept.

Needless to mention the craziness of so many God fearing people’s "not-so-good" characters. Again it is not that all believers are bad either.

Animal kingdom is entirely different. They really behave like "Animals". All our code of ethics are not applied there. Neither can we understand them nor can we weigh their life style with humans.

(note: we have animal instincts still with us to some degree)

In the history of mankind, there are more killings and violence due to religion and God than any other longings.

What is the meaning of life?

Posted on January 31st, 2010 by admin in unseen line | 9 Comments »

I’m seeking the meaning of life.

I don’t mean any sort of esoteric, postmodern nonsense answer like ‘aardvarks’ or ‘wompleschneet.’ I mean a bona fide and true, distinct meaning of life. The philosophical holy grail. The grand purpose. The reason to wake up each morning, go through the routines and unique qualities that line each day, and so forth.

What I want is what mankind has been seeking for the past several thousand years, give or take, and has been debated since the dawn of abstract consciousness. I want the stuff of which gods are made, the ether that permeates the space between your mind and my own, the unseen absolute.

I want Plato’s perfect chair and his notion of Justice. I want truth and guidance wrapped into one tiny nugget. I want to know why the Cubs can’t win the Series, or why dogs and cats will always fight, or why John Lennon had to die, or why John Lennon will never really die, or why McDonald’s french fries are so, so good.

I want ten words or less.

The meaning of life is to find your own personal meaning in life. Everything means something, but at the same time, nothing means anything. Figure out what’s important to YOU and be happy!

Can you rate this poem "The Swamp of Unseen Faces"?

Posted on January 31st, 2010 by admin in hope unseen | 1 Comment »

The Swamp of Unseen Faces

Between beams of soggy sun,
Streaked by the shades of weeping gray trees,
And trapped between walls of ice-cold mud and
Gray grass and twigs like green, jagged skeletons,
You might glimpse the Swamp of Unseen Faces.

If glare with your salt-stung eyes at this sorry sight,
If you squint through silver pillows of ghost cloak fog
And glassy green reflections of shadowy trees and a sun
Squeezed of brightness,
If you place clammy hands on goosebump-bony knees,
And peer into the water, you will see…
Faces.

Drifting…floating…seeing with lifeless eyes,
One pair of drab inanimate eyes might slide over to you,
Not seeing with marble eyes wide open.
You see no hope in those idle pupils,
No light,
No love,
No life.
Then they turn away to stare at a lifeless sun.

Gradually the light drains from your heart—the feeling.
Those terrible dead waters pull you in,
So softly and gently that your cold ankles are already
Licked by chilly, dank waters.
You are tired.
You are gray.
You are…lifeless.

Maybe those black and white water color clouds pull apart.
A distant sun reaches down and touches your face.
The color—the life—the hope will come back.
And soon you feel some paper-thin hands.
They stroke your color—your life—your hope.
They try to grab on, but they just fade.
They just fade.
They just fade.

Even if you plunge your hands into those icy gray waters,
You cannot retrieve them.
They just fade.
They just fade, and you turn away to the sun.

I think this is very deep.
I like it a lot.

how come atheists talk about Christians and their faith, when they too have faith in things unseen?

Posted on January 31st, 2010 by admin in unseen | 2 Comments »

When you go to the restaurant or by food to eat, you have "faith" that it’s all good to eat. You don’t know that its been processed right, you weren’t there so you don’t know. The only way to know is if you got sick or something. Christians also put faith in the unknown, God. And the only way to see Him, is that you have to die. So it’s the same type of thing going on.

So don’t athiests to have "faith" in things unseen and unknown?

You could say the same thing about Evolutionists Vs Creationists.

Evolutionists would say Creationists have faith in some imaginary being they can not see, but ditto the evolutionis because he has faith in his interpretation of the remains of material things when he did not witness at first hand how they were formed, how they lived, how they died, how they were preserved, or the time-frame involved.

If Darwin lived today and had access to the wealth of contemporary scientific knowledge (e.g., still no (undisputed) missing links, nor any sign of finely graduated series of fossils linking phyla; so-called living fossils showing no change over the assumed millions of years hiatus between their fossil occurrence and the present; and developments in microbiology which show the sheer complexity of the cell), Darwin would almost certainly have seen his theory in a different light.

Single-celled organisms to people evolution is an unsubstantiated hypothesis or conjecture. It’s a best guess based on what are known facts combined with a unprovable presupposition that we got here via purely natural means.

That presupposition required "faith" in things unseen and unknown and If that supposition is wrong then the conclusions will be wrong even though they nicely fit the available facts.

In a married life or a relationship,is it necessary that everything must be expressed to Your partner?

Posted on January 29th, 2010 by admin in best things in life are unseen | 10 Comments »

I know we express many things to our partner to know each other but there might be some feelings and opinions etc etc. or even your unseen attitude by your partner . that are unexpressed. Is it good to keep some secrets in your life ?people ,please do share thank you.

Well there’s two ways of thinking about this…One: You should be able to tell someone your in a relationship with anything and everything about yourself without fear of being judged or being rejected. Two: You don’t have to tell your significant other everything about yourself. There are things that are personal and they are all yours. And just because you don’t tell them doesn’t mean you’re not completely committed to them.

I suppose it’s mostly a personal decision. Some people are the kind who have to get things off their chests. They have to talk about it, analyze it. Where others internalize it and deal with it their own way.

All in all I think it’s perfectly OK to have a secret or two. Unless it’s something that could be deemed important to the relationship.

have you read the first episode of In Thy name, we live?

Posted on January 29th, 2010 by admin in unseen so this is freedom | 1 Comment »

peace be up on you
have you read the first episode of In Thy name, we live
well
this is the second episode in which mr amr kaled is talking about Allah Al-Fattah (The Superb Arbiter)
Episode 2: Al-Fattah (The Superb Arbiter)

In the name of Allah, The All-Merciful, praise be to Allah the Lord of the worlds.[1] All Prayers and Blessings of Allah be upon the Prophet of Allah (SAWS)[2]. Welcome to today’s episode and the first name of Allah’s most beautiful names, Al-Fattah; The Superb Arbiter. The episode is divided into four main parts: the first part tackles the meanings of The Superb Arbiter; the second part mentions four important points to bear in mind when remembering The Superb Arbiter, the third part is that Ramadan is the month of conquests and grants and the last part is about our duties towards The Superb Arbiter.

The name Al-Fattah has three meanings. The first meaning is that when all doors are closed, Allah with His will and power opens all of them, reveals all distresses, and resolves all difficulties. Bearing this meaning always in heart would make you the most powerful person in the world. Prostrate, abase yourself, and cry between His hands, Allah will grant you all what you desire. Allah (SWT)[3] says what can be translated as, “Whatever mercy Allah opens for mankind, then none can be holding it back; and whatever He holds back, then none can be sending it forth after Him; And He is The Ever-Mighty, The Ever-Wise” (TMQ, 35:2)[4].

In the battle of Badr, the Muslims numbered 300, with only two horses, and the rejecters of faith numbered 1000 men and 100 horses. The Prophet (SAWS) kept on supplicating Allah over and over to fulfill what He had promised him, to the extent that Abu-Bakr patted him and told him to calm down, fearing for him from the urgency of his supplication. Then the Prophet (SAWS) stood up and announced to the Muslims that Jibril (AS) [5] (Gabriel) is leading 1000 angels to fight with them. Thereafter the Muslims were granted victory.

It is said that when facing a scientific problem, Ibn-Taymiah used to go to the desert, lay his face in the sand, and ask for Al-Fattah’s forgiveness, for as long as it took. He said that he never came back except that Allah had resolved his problem. Furthermore, the son of a friend of mine went through a difficult delivery, where he was pulled with an instrument that damaged the neurological cells, resulting in a severe tremble. The doctors predicted that he would either be paralyzed or die; that his father wished for his son to pass away and not have to endure paralysis. He sought Allah’s help and supplicated Him. Once when he was going to a friend he met another doctor, by chance, who told him that there was another form of medicine available, and the boy was cured by the grace of Al-Fattah. He is now 12 years old and is alive and well.

The second meaning is The Superb Arbiter, who opens the doors of success at the beginning of everything. Allah says what can be translated as, “And in His Providence are the keys of the Unseen; none knows them except He” (TMQ, 6:59). Allah (SWT) says “And in His Providence are the keys of the Unseen” not “the keys of the Unseen are in his Province” to indicate that He alone holds these keys not any one else.

The last meaning is that Al-Fattah arbitrates with justice between opponents. Allah (SWT) says what can be translated as, “Say, Our Lord will gather us together; (Literally: “between” us) thereafter He will arbitrate between us with the Truth, and He is The Superb Arbiter, The Ever- Knowing” (TMQ, 34:26). Allah also says what can be translated as, “Our Lord! Arbitrate with the truth between us and our people, and You are The Most Charitable of arbiters” (TMQ, 7:89).

Lady Aisha (RA)[6] was unfairly accused of adultery. The people kept on slandering her for a whole month. When the Prophet (SAWS) asked her to ask for Allah’s forgiveness if she had committed any sin, she kept weeping and asked her father Abu-Bakr (RA) to answer for her. However, he could not. She could only say what can be translated as, “So, patience is becoming. And Allah is (The One) Whose help is to be sought against what you describe” (TMQ, 12:18). Hence, Allah revealed Surat[7] An-Nû‍r (The Light) to refute the alleged charges and declare her innocence. The same happened to Yusuf (AS) (Joseph) when he was unlawfully charged with soliciting the wife of al-Aziz (the governor). He entered prison for nine years, only to leave due to a vision seen by the king. At the end, the wife of al-Aziz said what can be translated as, “…Now the truth has come to light; I did solicit him” (TMQ, 12:51). Throw yourself into Al-Fattah’s hands and ask for His forgiveness for we seek His freedom from the hellfire.

We approach Allah in Ramadan with humility and ask him for inspiration or settlement of our matters. Approach Allah with humility tonight, go to your room, close the door and make a sajdah (prostration) asking Allah to help you solve your problems and chase away your sadness. You never know where you will be next year, or whether you will be alive or not, so ask Allah to inspire you and open doors for you with a simple act of prostration, or while you make dua’a (supplication), or as you shed a tear.

How should we deal with Allah’s name Al-Fattah (The Superb Arbiter)? First of all, Al-Fattah wants us to work diligently and full-heartedly because we never know when He may open doors for us. Sometimes Allah delays granting us solutions to test our sincerity and trust, so we should never lose hope. No matter how many times you knock on Allah’s door without it opening, it will eventually, so don’t give up and keep on trying. Keep knocking on His door even if you were rejected or denied at first. Sometimes we see people in hajj[8] making tawaf (circumambulation of the Ka’ba) making dua’a with tearful eyes. Be an intruder then, these people may have been accepted by Allah so go make dua’a with them instead. Allah wants us to be insistent. Sometimes we refuse to take a certain phone call, but the phone keeps on ringing and ringing till we finally do answer. Al-Fattah gives us hope that nothing is really impossible and that every problem has a solution. If you love serving Islam, Allah will test your persistence, just like He tested the Prophet’s (SAWS) persistence when he called the people of tribes of Aus and Khazraj into Islam. In addition, Al-Fattah sends solutions when we least expect it. Some matters may seem like dilemmas at first when in fact they could be the key to a solution. Prophet Yusuf’s (AS) imprisonment may have seemed like a problem that was impossible to solve, but it was actually a source of good, and he later became the king of Egypt. Our nation may be in a similar state right now, even it if seems like we are only facing hardships. Remember when the Prophet (SAWS) and Omar Ibnul-Khattab (RA) were not allowed to make umrah[9] during the treaty of Hudaybiya? When the ayah, which can be translated as, "Surely We have given you an evident conquest” (TMQ, 48:1) was revealed, Omar (RA) couldn’t understand how the treaty’s terms could allow for such a solution. The proof was that the number of people who embraced Islam shortly after the treaty of Hudaybiya was equal to the number of all those who joined it ever since the Prophet (SAWS) started his da’wa (missionary activity).

Moreover, the simplest of things could be lead to solutions, such as a simple word, a tear or even an ayah. We sometimes pass by an ayah we’ve read a hundred times in the Qur’an, yet one day we hear or read that ayah from a totally different perspective which completely changes our life.

Allah sends us solutions that exceed our expectations. When Lady Hajar kept running back and forth between the two hills of Safa and Marwa in Makkah, looking for water for her son Isma’il (AS) (Ishmael), Allah sent her zamzam water which we still drink till this very day. All I’m trying to tell you in this episode is that you should ask Allah by his name Al-Fattah to aid you, open doors for you this Ramadan, and solve all your problems. Would you like this Ramadan to be exceptional? Ask Allah. Remember that on the very first night of Ramadan, the gates of heaven are opened and we are granted great rewards: good deeds are multiplied by more than seventy times; our sins are forgiven every time we fast and make qiyam (voluntary night prayer). Remember the great rewards of Lailat Al-Qadr (the Night of Determination) which equals a thousand months of worship in reward. In addition, every night of Ramadan, some people are freed from the hellfire.

How should we deal with Allah’s name, Al-Fattah (The Superb Arbiter)? First, approach Him with humility. Second, have great hope in Allah’s victory, and third, be a source of good for others. Help someone tomorrow so that Allah will open doors for you. Allah’s name Al-Fattah (The Superb Arbiter) has an important meaning in our death as well as our lives. Allah helps us when the angels ask us in our graves and opens a door from which we can see our seat in heaven. Allah is with us all the time.

Nope, for I don’t believe in Allah. I believe in the God of Isaac, Abraham and Jacob, who sent His son Jesus Christ to die for our sins, and rose from the dead, so that we can be with Him forever. Praise be to God!
