I believe that almighty is the creator. You can just think about the fact that the one which is produced from something has presence of the earlier. Hence I believe that almighty is in you and me and every material and immaterial things in this world. If you think that the people you always deal with in your life has almighty in his / her heart then you gain more virtues. Don’t be after to see almighty. What would you do if you see him ? If you can’t make out its presence within you and in others, then how will you identify him even after seeing him ?

Great point.

What could be more noble, humble and modest than requiring his creations to worship him without any evidence of his existing (the definition of faith) and punishing them to eternity in hell if they choose to do otherwise.

And thank you so much for the free will to enable me to spend my 70 or so years on earth not believing in you only for my soul to spend eternity suffering in the fires of hell, how noble.

And thank you for showing yourself to so many different people and giving them different messages so that we can fight over which one was right. Mankind worships your infinite goodness for that one.

Incidentally the statement "he is most perfect and infinitely greater in all good virtues that can be found in any good human being because he himself is the creator of those virtues found in any good human being" also lends itself to:
He is most evil and infinitely greater in all bad virtues that can be found in any bad human being because he himself is the creator of those evils found in any bad human being.

Have a think about that.

If god is so humble, then why does he send people to Hell for not believing in him?

If he wants me to believe he exists, he damn well better show himself. If he doesn’t want to be in the limelight for all his "good deeds" (ha ha!), then I guess he’s cool with me going right on not believing.

And I’m sure such a virtuous and humble being would agree that it’s totally not fair to punish someone for disbelief of things for which there is no evidence.

So… no Hell for me either way. Cool.

Your analogy is shaky at best.

The anonymous hero does good to make himself feel better, and because it’s the right thing to do.

However, your gods do good, and rather than remain anonymous, demand worship and fealty, threatening eternal torment for noncompliance.

Sorry. There is a huge difference. A god comfortable with himself would not demand worship. That is not a hero, and frankly, not much of a god.

It doesn’t matter anymore, what the complex and confusing reason is why religious folk claim god does not appear to show people he exists. There has never been a human being who has seen a god. There is no "perfect" deity up there; no "almighty" that is playing hide-n-seek, no Allah watching 24 hours a day to catch humans in a sneaky sin.

There’s nothing there. Deal with it!

Hey, I’m not an atheist but I do have an opinion on this if you don’t mind.

Jesus was here, raising people from the dead and some still didn’t believe. Even when he did show his humanity and love to the world there were those around him who refused to believe. But that’s ok. Jesus isn’t for everybody. And he knows it. And he warned us of it. And he told us not to stress about it either…. just dust off your shoes and move on…..

Like a baby being formed inside a woman’s belly… science loves to expose, God loves to keep things a mystery.

And don’t forget it’s an evil generation that demands a sign.
