almost one year now. I have had infections ruled out, and white cells have formed. I had a cystoscopy done on thursday and it showed white cells that are not suposed to be there. The surgon said we are looking at 3 possible causes for this. One is a low grade infection(not likeley) two polops and three something more serious. I am due to go back onthe 20th of this month for a CT scan. I was given 3 urine jars. I have to do a midstream in the morning on the 18th of this month, one int he morning on the 19th and one in the morning onthe 20th I am supposed to go back in. They will be testing for malignancy. Like I said I have been putting up with this for almost 1 year now. My periods are now so irregular but cannot understand as my hormone tests are good and within normal limits. I have sometimes clear jelly mucas coming out too that has only been happeining this year. My Feritin level is low. I am getting sore throats, and feel like I have the flu sometimes like I feel like now. Please
if there is any doctors or nurses on here please help me, what could this be? Like I said the surgen found white cells when doing the cystoscopy, and I have no infection or kidney stones or kidney infections, so no UTIs as that has been ruled out so many times. Please help

You do not say how old you are but if you are still having periods then you are much younger than the typical bladder cancer patient. I’m sorry I do not have a clear answer to your questions except to say that the diagnosis of cancer is often complicated and can require a lot of repeated testing. The tests being done will hopefully exclude cancer as a potential diagnosis for your problem.

I do have one suggestion. If you smoke then quit ASAP since smoking is the biggest risk factor for developing bladder cancer. btw- Bladder cancer is highly curable when caught early and if you have it then I am almost certain it will be found in the earliest stages. If you had advanced bladder cancer then a diagnosis would have already been easy to make.

I’m sorry but you are just going to have to wait out the various tests before you get the answers you seek. good luck

No you again its the hypochondriac that had terminal anus cancer that miraculously disappeared. a doctor or urologist would not let it go on this long. They would have scanned you at the beginning. How do i know???? Mum pasted away from kidney cancer last Sept after only a 4 month battle. She had blood in her urine on and off and the first thing they did WAS scan her. I think you need to see a psychiatrist, like i said last year it was terminal anus cancer that just disappeared!!!!
