The term antifa derives from Antifaschismus, which is German for anti-fascism.

Let’s begin, shall we?

Grab whatever supplies you feel are necessary for this quest (Rations & Map)

And begin making your way to area 5, there is a Rathalos roaming around in this quest, so be sure to not provoke him or else he could become a bit of trouble.

Now, you can handle this quest in several ways. You can just grab the egg and begin running your way back home, or you can clear out the areas.

If you’re going to clear out the areas, grab a egg, and drop it. Then begin to clear out whatever areas you’re intending to go through. I went from 5, 6, 2.

Also, there are Velociprey in area 1, why? It’s a bit unexpected I guess, be sure to clear them out as well.

So clear areas 1, 2, and 6 if you’re going to follow my method. If not, do whatever you like.

After that, make your way down area 6, I can’t exactly explain how to do so since well.. yeah, it’s a effing mountain, but you guys can watch what I did and just follow along really. It’s not hard at all. Just have to be a bit cautious on your steps/jumps. I wouldn’t suggest running on this part either.

This quest isn’t hard at all, it just takes a bit of time and patience.

Time for one of my favorite quests in Monster Hunter, “Queen of the Desert”.

You fought a Rathalos, so taking down a Rathian shouldn’t be any trouble at all really.

Weapon: Poison Battleaxe:

I suggest you bring 3x Flash Bombs, and 3x Lg Barrel Bombs to make this quest go by really fast.

Let’s begin shall we? Grab whatever supplies you want from the Supply Box and begin to head to area 4. Once there you’ll see some Apceros and Rathian, pretty much a Green Rathalos.

You’ll want to clear the two Apceros closest to you, as they can be rather annoying while fighting Rathian.

Rathian is a bit more different from Rathalos, she only uses ground-based attacks. So not alot of flying for her, which is great because it makes things go by so much faster.

One of her attacks she’ll use alot is Fireball, which is great for getting some free hits on her, or hits to hacking off that tail of hers.

Unlike Rathalos, she has a Triple Fireball attack, as the name implies she fires 3 fireballs instead of the usual 1. She tends to use this attack alot more while in “Rage Mode”.

She can also do a backflip, yes a backflip. Absurd right? Well the damage is to, it will also poison you if you’re not wearing Poison Resistant armor, don’t worry though. It’s easy to point out when she’ll attempt a backflip, as she’ll take 2 steps back before doing so. She tends to use this attack often while in “Rage Mode” as well.

As Rathalos, her head/legs are her weak point. So you know what to aim for when she’s using her Fireball attack.

If she is limping away, she’ll try head to area 3 to recover health. If she manages to get away, quickly enter that area and begin to clear the Apceros within it, and then finish her off.

Once you get the hang of her, she’s really fun to fight, just like Basarios. (:

If you aren’t prepared for the hard shell of Basarios, be prepared to bounce. First and foremost, I recommend a Bow or Bowgun with Pierce shots. The Daimyo’s Warbow II that I am using is perfect at this stage of the game, because it has Pierce level 3 as a third charge and Basarios is weak versus Water element.
If you insist on a melee weapon, go with Sword and Shield. Although there is no Water SnS available yet, the Velocidrome Bite+ should do nicely. The SnS weapon class has a special property that allows it to cut through areas on a monster where other weapon types bounce. The weapon classes I discourage for this battle are Great Sword, Longsword, Lance and Gunlance. That is, unless you want to make this battle needlessly difficult and long for yourself.
You may want to grab your trusty Hornet armor for High Grade Earplugs so you don’t get run over like I do. I usually trade my safety for a little extra power here, but it’s up to you.
If you are ranged, you only have to worry about his charge and fireball. Both are very easy to spot, and also easily avoided by simply not standing directly in front of his face.
If you go with a Sword and Shield or other melee, you’ll have to worry about poison and sleep gas, also. These moves are easy to spot and you won’t get hit if you’re not under him. His chest can be broken and the tip of his tail can be cut off.
You’ll probably be a lot better off if you get rid of the Aptonoth and Ioprey that are in your way. They are a pain.
