Signals to interpret (theres still a chance)?
Girlfriend and I broke up. We are still friends. We talked and everything sounds okay. Im giving space for both of us to clear our head and to forgive each other. There were things that I need help interpreting. Things that I feel that can give our relationship a 2nd chance.
-I forgave her of hurting me and she said shes working on forgiving me.
-She said, "I can’t be with you right now. I need time for my broken heart to mend"
-"We cant hangout this thanksgiving weekend but maybe the following week"
[I thought christmas break was too soon to hangout, but she thinks the week after thanksgiving is okay]
-We talked yesturday and how we still need to watch unseen movies together, finish a mosaic jigsaw puzzles, and also thinking of seeing The Nutcracker together.
Its only been days since our breakup but feels like an eternity.
Is there still a chance?
I’m not really sure. If you had a good reason for breaking up then I think it’s pretty clear nothing is going to work until those reasons are cleared up. If she needs to forgive you and you need to forgive her then it might take a while before you go out again. I’d wait things out and see how it goes because what you’re planning to do together might actually prove to be too much for the both of you. You both might realize you need more time to get over one another and will avoid seeing each other until Christmas break like you planned.
Overall I think a second chance is slim unless it’s a little while from now. You shouldn’t get back together so soon because the partial shock of suddenly being alone will pressure you two to get back together and that’s not good to act on. Take some time to yourselves to work things out and then see if later on there is another chance.

Yes, there is a chance HOWEVER, the only chance for you to get back together is to know and realize that your not together anymore. Don’t interpret anything; try to have your space.
You will realize that "a chance" shouldn’t be your main priority. Priority is to give each other space and hope for the best.
