I really like the …
I really like the character of Miriam. I believe Amina awakes so many feelings and sensations in Miriam and helps her find her own voice. I really like the part she tells her husband he needs to find better ways to speak to her. She is standing up for herself and following her own values and beliefs not his as before. I believe she had been so oppressed she even forgot who she was and what could make her feel alive! I also love when she gets back to reading and of course the wonderful kiss!
