I saw the Beatles …
I saw the Beatles on 12-Aug-66 do 2 shows @ the Int’l Ampatheatre in Chicago. I was 19 & it will remain one of the top 5 most memorable days of my life. I’ve been to 100 concerts since, and no one can hold a candle to their personna & music. The rap artists of today couldn’t even wash their socks! If you can ever hear American English perform, it will take you back to a kinder & gentler time, [they're good]. Melody, harmony, rythum & nievete’ – it can NEVER be duplicated! Rock On !!

@pattii55 That’s right. When the craziness set in, they had each other, as Ringo said. True. It also makes you realize how much more difficult it is for women as they are rarely in groups as men are. So, it must be tougher. It’s better to be a Beatle than to be Elvis.
